Joe Marin, President

Joe Marin is responsible for shaping and developing Travelers Hotel Group's operations, leveraging over 35 years of experience in the hospitality industry as he oversees the company’s strategic vision and business plan. With expertise in branding and renovations, he specializes in repositioning properties within their respective markets. In addition, his expertise in budgeting allows Travelers Hotel Group to craft solutions that result in cost savings and increases in operational efficiency for a wide range of properties.

Steven Marin, CHA Director of Development Services and Construction

Steven Marin graduated from the Warrington College of Business at the University of Florida in 2001. Having spent his entire professional career in the hospitality industry, Steven is responsible for overseeing all property operations, specializing in revenue optimization and oversees all acquisitions, divestitures and deal formation. Having received training from franchisors that include Wyndham Worldwide and Choice Hotels International, Steven is very familiar with the mid-scale lodging sector, and specializes in staying ahead of trends, a tremendous asset when you service such a rapidly evolving industry. With the help of his expertise in guest services, Travelers Hotel Group is able to deliver excellent customer service throughout every point of the guest experience, from check-in to check-out. He also directs the development for Travelers Hotel Group, from site acquisition to construction and opening. Steven has expertise in the current commercial zoning and construction laws and ordinances and extensive knowledge of the hotel development and government approval process in Miami-Dade County and various South Florida municipalities. Steven has directly overseen and managed the development or re-development of 5 hotel properties in South Florida over the past 14 years.

Michael Pfeffer M.D., Principal

Michael Pfeffer brings over 40 years of hospitality management experience to Travelers Hotel Group, having been involved in the management and operations of franchised and independent hotels since 1974. He has earned an M.B.A from the University of Miami, giving him foundational knowledge into the inner workings of a wide range of businesses, an extensive background he has honed as an owner and operator of medical practices since 1996, where he specialized in personnel and operations management. Michael's professionalism and experience give Travelers Hotel Group the ability to provide unsurpassed operations/financial management and client relations for its clients.

Gregory M. Winn, Director of Operations

Gregory Winn is the Director of Operations of Travelers Hotel Group. His experience and seasoning of 30+ years in the industry lends an uncommon denominator to the team. He began his career as a night auditor, quickly rising through the ranks of management and purchasing his first hotel at the age of 27. He has held various senior-level positions in hotel administration with prestigious brands such as Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Intercontinental Hotels, Choice Hotels International and Wyndham Worldwide. In addition to management, Gregory has renovated, designed/built, and repositioned virtually every major brand within the industry. Leveraging his strong accounting background, he is a master at implementing budgeting practices that place tighter controls over properties in order to maximize efficiency.

Tracy Randall, Director of Sales and Marketing

Ms. Randall brings over 30 years of experience in the hospitality industry, to Travelers Hotel Group including roles at full-service, and select service properties. Her extensive hotel Sales and Marketing experience includes corporate sales, group sales, and advertising. Prior to becoming Director of sales with THG, she held various director-level positions, including Director of Sales & Marketing for Mike Ditka Resorts in Orlando, FL and Director of Sales & Marketing-Sheraton Salt Lake City, Utah. Tracy has extensive hotel sales experience and is a critical part of the leadership team at THG, bringing experience with brands including IHG, Choice Hotels International, Wyndham Worldwide, Hilton and Marriott to the table. She has been instrumental in the development of many of the sales tools and processes used daily at THG.
